We are seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to support critical efforts concentrated on Azure Cloud Migration with the help of Cloud Application Templates. The ideal candidate is quality-focused, an excellent communicator, and thrives in both independent and collaborative team environments while staying aware of ongoing technology trends.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to Cloud Azure Migration initiatives leveraging Cloud Application Templates
- Design and implement cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated delivery
- Build and orchestrate containerized applications across cloud environments
- Implement infrastructure-as-code practices to provision and manage cloud resources
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within an agile delivery model
- Pragmatically leverage emerging technology trends to deliver business value
- Promote DevOps practices and drive automation across the development lifecycle
- Ensure high quality standards throughout the software delivery process
Requirements
- 3+ years of solid background in development using a language such as Java, C# or JavaScript, Python or Go
- Expertise in CI/CD including tools such as Maven, Gradle or Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab
- Proficiency in containers and container orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes and Helm
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or other major cloud platforms
- Skills in infrastructure-as-code, using tools such as Terraform, ARM or CloudFormation
- Familiarity with scripting languages, including Windows PowerShell and Bash
- Experience with GitHub or similar, contributing to open-source projects
- Understanding of agile development practices (Scrum, Kanban)
- Background in DevOps practices and the value of automation
- Fluency in English with excellent communication skills
