SAP CAP Developer with Java

We are seeking a SAP CAP Developer with a strong background in Java to join our software engineering team.

You will work on building web applications using SAP technologies and modern development practices. This role requires experience in Java, Spring Boot, and SAP-related tools to deliver effective solutions for our clients. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to drive project success. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using SAP CAP and Java technologies

• Implement backend services with Spring Boot and database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or HANA Cloud

• Collaborate with product owners and team members in agile settings including Scrum and Kanban

• Design event-driven components where applicable to enhance application responsiveness

• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards

• Assist in the integration of applications with SAP systems and related technologies

• Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines alongside DevOps teams

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and development environments

• Document development processes, architecture, and configurations

• Contribute to team knowledge sharing and technical discussions

  
  

Requirements

• Experience in SAP CAP development with a minimum of 4 years building web applications

• Proficiency in Java programming and Spring Boot framework

• Background in working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SAP HANA Cloud

• Knowledge of SAP-related technologies and platforms

• Experience working within agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban

• Understanding of event-driven architectures is advantageous

• Familiarity with DevOps tools including CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and Docker is beneficial

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment

• English proficiency at a professional working level

• Certification in SAP development or related technologies

• Knowledge of microservices architecture
