Salesforce Data Consultant

We are currently looking for a Salesforce Data Consultant to join our team.

This role focuses on developing comprehensive data migration solutions from legacy systems into Salesforce, utilizing tools such as Talend for data integration and management. You will play a crucial role in planning, executing, and documenting the data migration process, ensuring high standards of data quality and alignment with best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end data migration solutions using designated tools like Talend
• Cleanse, deduplicate, and enrich data as required to maintain its quality
• Actively participate in the migration planning and analysis phases to implement best practices
• Apply solid understanding of data mapping, cleansing, transformation, and reconciliation processes
• Harness excellent data modeling skills to create efficient data frameworks
• Use SQL and other querying languages to manipulate and manage data
• Execute the data migration process meticulously according to project requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the migration process
• Maintain high-quality documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders in English

Requirements

• Solid understanding of data mapping, cleansing, transformation, and data reconciliation processes
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Deep understanding of database fundamentals
• Excellent data modeling skills
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Good familiarity with at least one ETL tool
• Ability to plan, execute and document data migration process according to project requirements
• Experience working with Talend
• Ability to document and troubleshoot problems
• Experience in working with large datasets
• Effective communication in English

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-focused architectures and Salesforce Platform
• Understanding of data governance, data warehousing, and business intelligence concepts
• Proficiency in Salesforce query performance tuning
• Ability to code and automate basic tasks
• Ability to write scripts for API data extraction in any of the following languages: Node.js, Java, PHP, Python, or similar
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL
• Solid understanding of data governance, data warehousing, and business intelligence concepts
