Lead Full Stack Developer | Kraków
We are looking for an experienced Lead Fullstack Developer to join our team.
In this position, you will oversee the design, development, and maintenance of end-to-end applications using Node.js and Angular, ensuring high performance and innovative solutions. The role requires strong leadership abilities to guide a team of developers and uphold exceptional quality standards.
Please note that this role involves working from the EPAM office in Krakow or Gdansk three days a week.

Responsibilities
Design and maintain scalable web solutions using Node.js for backend development and Angular for frontend interfaces
Define and implement coding standards, architectural best practices, and development guidelines for the team
Oversee the integration of APIs, databases, and external services to ensure application efficiency
Lead and support a team of fullstack developers, ensuring project timelines and code quality are met
Perform detailed code reviews to ensure consistency and adherence to best practices
Monitor application performance and implement strategies to improve scalability, security, and speed
Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges across the entire technology stack to maintain system reliability
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure development efforts align with business objectives
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related discipline
A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing front-end applications, microservices, and RESTful APIs
At least 1 year of experience in a leadership or team management capacity
Extensive experience with Node.js for backend development
Proven expertise in Angular for building user-facing applications
Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, Kinesis, Firehose, DynamoDB, EKS, and CloudWatch
Proficiency in working with DynamoDB and PostgreSQL databases
Ability to analyze legacy systems and design modern, target-state architectures
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and workflows
Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
Previous experience with Java or Python would be a valuable addition
