Lead Automation Test Engineer with .NET

We are seeking a Lead Automation Test Engineer with expertise in .NET to support a major product migration to SaaS on Azure.

You will engage in coding, primarily focusing on backend automated testing using C# and API testing tools such as Bruno, Insomnia, or Postman. This role involves working within a full-stack team that utilizes Angular, C#, cloud services, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices. Responsibilities

• Develop automated integration and system tests using C# primarily targeting backend services

• Assist in writing and reviewing test plans for accuracy and completeness

• Review and provide feedback on team members’ test code to ensure coverage of relevant scenarios

• Collaborate with the development team to understand service functionalities for effective test implementation

• Participate in user acceptance testing and feature validation activities

• Support the team in development tasks related to test automation

• Occasionally contribute to frontend testing efforts involving Angular code

• Ensure automated tests align with product requirements and quality standards

• Work closely with DevOps to integrate automated tests into deployment pipelines

• Maintain and update test suites as the product evolves

Requirements

• Proven experience with automated testing using .NET and C# for 5 or more years

• Demonstrated leadership in test engineering roles guiding team test efforts

• Background in API testing using tools such as Bruno, Insomnia, or Postman

• Strong understanding of Azure cloud services and components in a SaaS environment

• Experience in developing integration and system tests for backend applications

• Ability to review and improve test plans and automated test code

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills (B2+)

Nice to have

• Experience with performance testing using JMeter or Azure Load Test

• Familiarity with Angular testing frameworks such as JEST
