Java Full-Stack Developer

Join our team as a Java Full-Stack Developer, where you'll play a key role in a significant project within the Client's division, focused on delivering strategic insights for business growth. If you're ready to make an impact in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!

This role offers a hybrid model, with 3 days per week working from the office in Kraków, Poland. The candidate must visit the Client office in Warsaw 2-4 times a year for planning purposes.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Java-based software and applications, contributing to all stages of the software development lifecycle
• Analyze user requirements, envision system features, and select optimal solutions
• Implement and monitor web service/middleware applications using backend clusters in the search application architecture
• Engineer components and common services based on standard corporate development models, languages, and tools
• Follow software engineering best practices and utilize automation for efficient solution delivery
• Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Java and regular Java tech stack
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, (S)CSS, HTML
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, RxJS
• Understanding of software engineering principles and lifecycle
• Good communication skills and proactiveness
• Experience in implementing a reliable system
• Proficiency in Spring framework
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
• Understanding of REST architecture
• Experience with unit testing (JUnit5, Mockito)
• Willingness to attend meetings between 5 pm and 7 pm each day

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud (PCF - Pivotal Cloud Foundry)
• Familiarity with Angular 6
