Senior Fullstack Developer - React + Java/Kotlin

Due to our ongoing growth and the large number of recruitment projects we undertake for our partners, we are currently looking for Senior Fullstack Developer (Java/Kotlin + React) :)

• 100% remote
• 2-stage recruitment process

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing a web application using React.js on the frontend and Java/Kotlin on the backend
• Creating and integrating solutions based on REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Working with MongoDB, Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD using GitHub Actions
• Implementing Test-Driven Development (TDD) and ensuring high code quality
• Ensuring security, testability, and documentation of implemented solutions
• Collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to achieve business goals
• Participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and task refinements
• Promoting inclusivity and diversity in the workplace

Requirements:

• Experience as Fullstack Engineer with React.js and ideally, on the backend you have experience in Java/Kotlin
• You have worked with MongoDB, Terraform, Docker before and have an understanding of REST and Microservices
• You are passionate about Test Driven Development
• Proficient knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Focused on quality, testability, security, and documentation
• CI/CD (Github Actions) and automation experience
• Preferably, you have worked in an agile environment before
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• You are a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding and appreciating diversity and inclusivity in the workplace
• Good English communication skills (at least B2 level)
• Experience with Analytics Services or working with API calls and publishing NATS/Kafka events to analytics platforms
• Proficiency in extending and developing plugins (own module) in a structured environment
• Strong background in implementing persistence layers and REST services for complex applications
• Expertise in rate limiting and architecting robust, scalable applications
• Experience working with Media Servers, ensuring the use of existing APIs for handling various file formats and sizes, including efficient downscaling of images and videos for mobile devices
