SAP Administrator

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Administrator to manage and maintain our SAP landscape. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation, performance, and security of SAP systems, supporting various business processes. This role involves system administration, troubleshooting, and collaborating with functional teams to deliver high availability and reliability of SAP solutions. 

MD rate: 16600 - 20000 PLN

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems such as SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW, or Fiori. 
• Monitor and optimize the performance of SAP applications, databases, and servers. 
• Manage SAP system upgrades, patches, and support package applications. 
• Perform user administration, including role management and access control within SAP Basis. 
• Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies for SAP systems. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP system issues, including system crashes, performance bottlenecks, and connectivity problems. 
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP modules. 
• Maintain and monitor SAP transport management system (TMS). 
• Document SAP system configurations, processes, and best practices. 
• Ensure compliance with security policies and manage audit requirements for SAP environments. 

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in SAP system administration. 
• Proficiency in SAP Basis administration, including system installation, upgrades, and performance tuning. 
• Hands-on experience with HANA or Oracle databases for SAP environments. 
• Strong understanding of SAP NetWeaver architecture. 
• Knowledge of transport management and change management in SAP. 
• Familiarity with SAP security concepts, including roles and authorizations. 
• Experience with monitoring tools like SAP Solution Manager or third-party alternatives. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex SAP issues. 

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SAP cloud solutions like SAP Cloud Platform or SAP BTP. 
• Knowledge of Linux or Windows system administration for SAP. 
• Experience in SAP migrations (e.g., ECC to S/4HANA). 
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori or SAP Gateway configuration. 
• Exposure to DevOps practices and automation tools like Ansible or Terraform. 
• Certification in SAP administration (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate – System Administration).
