Senior Firmware Developer

As a Senior Firmware Engineer, you will be working on the new generation devices and software which is helping our customers in keeping their industrial installations working without any unpredicted incidents, which can cause critical damages or shortages in the production. You will be working in a team on designing and developing new generation of a device using the newest available technologies. 

While working with us, you’ll be part of a development team, working on crucial software and/or firmware projects installed in critical industrial infrastructure all over the world. You’ll be using cutting-edge technologies, working with an international team of development and subject matter experts. Your input will be very valuable in all phases of software development cycle – starting from the design, via implementation, up to the testing, release & maintenance phase. Our Warsaw R&D Center was created in 2005, and we have already released a lot new to the world products and also build up an outstanding environment to work.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Analysis of customer’s needs
• User interface design
• System architecture design
• Writing application code
• Creating unit and integration tests
• Testing of created applications
• Profiling and optimizing applications
• Creating developer tools
• Creating technical documentation
• Working in a team
• Refining the software development process
• Provide the technical leadership, coordination and support for team members
• Working with marketing team to create a software development plan
• Cooperation with the manager in the field of team development

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related engineering field and 6+ years of related experience or a master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related engineering field and 5+ years of related experience
• Motivation to build global products and tools to make the world healthier, safer, smarter and more sustainable
• Deep knowledge about complex embedded systems development, including experience with STM32 microcontrollers. 
• Proficiency in English and Polish
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum Team
• Great communication and cooperation skills
• Proactive attitude

Technology Stack: C/C++, RTOS, Networking, Embedded software design & development, Cortex-A/M/R, Yocto, Secure Codding, Azure DevOps, Git
