Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and validate Android Automotive/Android OS software
• Integration of customer software components
• Bring-up of new HW on Android OS
• Debug and troubleshoot Android-based systems
• Develop unit, design, and integration tests
• Develop and Guide team members with low-level design, development, and test case engineering with training, reviews, and feedback.
• Collaborate with multiple domains across IVI and Cockpit to drive high-level design for complex domain features
• Participate in design and code reviews
• Develop relevant software documentation

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in development in Android OS (TV or Automotive)
• Experience in Android OS software development and integration, especially with deep experience in Linux and/or Android lower layers e.g. kernel, framework, vendor-specific libraries, device drivers, protocol stacks
• Understanding of Android Architecture, Android Ecosystem, and Android Debugging
• Good analytical and communication skills
• Advanced level of spoken and written English
• Nice to have:
• Good knowledge of device firmware updates, OTA etc
• Experience in automotive, especially in the area of infotainment system
• Experience in full-stack development for Android
