We’re looking for the Workplace Specialist, who will be supporting various initiatives within the workplace domain, including workstations, mobile devices, Microsoft Office applications, workstation backup solutions, virtual desktops, and remote access solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
She/he/they will work closely with workplace Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to bring her/his/their expertise and tests and will also leverage their experience to develop and execute their own tests.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with workplace SMEs to understand testing requirements and objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive testing of workstation and mobile configurations prior building the INTUNE configuration to ensure optimal performance and security.

Test virtualization and remote access solutions to ensure reliable and secure remote work capabilities based on various use cases.

Develop and execute independent tests based on personal expertise and industry best practices.
- Document all testing activities, results, and issues in a clear and detailed manner.

Provide detailed reports and recommendations based on testing outcomes.

Design, implement, and manage workplace infrastructure solutions, including workstations, mobile devices, and virtual desktops.
- Provide expert support and troubleshooting for Microsoft Office applications and related technologies.

Develop and maintain workstation backup solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.

Implement and manage remote access solutions to support a flexible and mobile workforce.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of workplace technologies.

Monitor and optimize the performance of workplace infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve workplace infrastructure.

Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective use of workplace technologies.
- Develop and maintain documentation for workplace infrastructure processes and procedures.
Requirements:

10+ years of experience working on a similar position, especially supporting remote workplace within organizations, including workstations, mobile devices, Microsoft Office applications, workstation backup solutions, virtual desktops, and remote access solutions.
- Experience in designing, implementing and managing workplace infrastructure solutions.
- Experience with developing and executing tests of workstation and mobile configurations, testing virtualization and remote access solutions.
- Experience working with INTUNE.
- Extensive experience with MS Office applications and related technologies.
- Experience in monitoring and optimization of workplace infrastructure.
- Experience with test documentation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
