Workplace Engineer

As a Digital Workplace Collaboration Engineer, you'll work at the intersection of collaboration technologies, user experience, governance, and emerging AI capabilities—helping to define how employees work today while preparing for the workplace of tomorrow.
What You'll Be Doing
As part of the Digital Workplace team, you'll play a key role in supporting, improving, and evolving a diverse collaboration environment used by teams around the world.
Working closely with technical experts, business stakeholders, vendors, and global support teams, you'll:
Enhance and support collaboration platforms that drive communication and productivity across the organization
Manage the deployment, configuration, integration, and ongoing lifecycle of workplace technologies
Partner with internal teams and external providers to deliver a seamless employee experience
Drive adoption by analysing usage trends, improving documentation, and creating effective user guidance
Contribute to governance, security, and compliance initiatives, particularly around AI-powered workplace tools
Evaluate new technologies and emerging capabilities, helping shape the future roadmap of workplace collaboration
Ensure collaboration services remain secure, reliable, scalable, and user-friendly
Technology Landscape
You'll work across a modern collaboration ecosystem including:
Microsoft 365 (Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, Planner, OneNote)
Slack and enterprise messaging platforms
Zoom and hybrid meeting technologies
Microsoft Purview and reporting tools
Telephony and softphone solutions
AI-powered workplace tools including Microsoft Copilot, Slack AI, Zoom AI and enterprise knowledge platforms
Additional productivity and business applications supporting global teams
You won't be expected to be an expert in every technology from day one. What matters most is a strong foundation in collaboration technologies and a genuine enthusiasm for learning new tools and capabilities.
What We're Looking For
We're interested in professionals who combine technical expertise with a strong user-focused mindset.
You'll likely bring:
Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 collaboration services in an enterprise environment
Strong experience with at least one major collaboration platform such as Slack or Zoom
The ability to quickly learn and become effective across multiple technologies
A practical approach to balancing user experience, operational efficiency, security, and governance
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
A proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented mindset
Fluent English communication skills
Nice to Have
Experience with AI-enabled workplace solutions and governance frameworks
Exposure to reporting, monitoring, or adoption analytics platforms
Knowledge of telephony or hybrid workplace technologies
Experience creating technical documentation, knowledge articles, or self-service content
French language skills
