Job Title: MongoDB Administrator

Location: Remote (Poland)

Language: English & Polish (both mandatory)

We are looking for a MongoDB Administrator to support and maintain database environments within a financial institution. The role focuses on ensuring database stability, availability, performance, and security in a business-critical environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with infrastructure and application teams to support day-to-day database operations and ongoing platform improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain MongoDB database environments

• Ensure database availability, reliability, and performance

• Monitor database health and resolve operational issues

• Perform backup and recovery activities

• Support database upgrades, patching, and maintenance tasks

• Implement and maintain security and access controls

• Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis

• Collaborate with internal technical teams and stakeholders

• Prepare and maintain operational documentation

• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to database administration and stability

Requirements

• Proven experience as a MongoDB Administrator in production environments

• Strong understanding of MongoDB administration and database concepts

• Experience with database performance monitoring and optimization

• Knowledge of backup, recovery, and high availability principles

• Understanding of database security and access management

• Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Languages

• Polish & English - fluent

Nice to Have

• Experience within banking, financial services, or other regulated industries

• Exposure to large-scale or business-critical environments

• Experience supporting distributed teams and international projects
