Windchill PLM Support Engineer – CAD Applications (2nd Line Support)

We are looking for a Windchill PLM Support Engineer to strengthen our client's CAD/PLM application support team in Rotterdam. In this role, you will be at the heart of theengineering IT landscape, ensuring that critical Windchill PLM and CAD systems run smoothly for global operations across offshore wind, energy, and heavy engineering projects.

If you enjoy solving complex technical issues, working close to engineering users, and being the go-to expert for PLM applications — this role gives you exactly that.

Main Responsibilities:

• Fast and effective 2nd line incident resolution using the BMC ITSM tool.

• Collaboration with other IT departments and business key users to resolve complex issues.

• Timely delivery of service requests.

• Functional requirements analysis.

• Conducting test activities for changes and projects.

• Maintaining up-to-date application documentation for IT and business users.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in an IT environment, preferably in offshore or engineering sectors.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent ability.

• General engineering understanding along with knowledge or keen interest in IT.

• Fluency in English (verbal and written).

• Strong customer relationship skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.

• Flexible working hours, including potential evening or weekend work.
