UI/UX Designer

Introduction & Summary:

We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer with a robust background in web application design to elevate our internal platforms for centralizing experimental data. The ideal candidate will possess at least 3-7 years of experience and demonstrate a strong command of user-centered design principles. You will collaborate with various teams to produce cohesive UX strategies and compelling UI visuals.

Main Responsibilities:

The chosen candidate will be tasked with enhancing our internal web applications through innovative design and collaborative efforts.

• Create visually stunning UI designs for internal and external web applications aligned with business needs.

• Engage with stakeholders to define and gather design requirements.

• Visualize and present design concepts across different styles.

• Conduct user tests to validate design choices.

• Generate UI assets and assist developers in implementing designs.

• Utilize and adapt Design System libraries and guidelines.

• Serve as a UI/UX subject matter expert and advocate for best practices.

• Promote user-centered, data-driven design principles.

• Create marketing visuals for project presentations.

Key Requirements:

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• At least 3 years of experience in UI design for web applications.

• Strong autonomy and strategic thinking skills.

• Proficiency in usability and user-centered design.

• A portfolio showcasing UI/UX projects and processes.

• Mastery of design tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.

• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello) preferred.

• Experience with UX research tools (e.g., usertesting.com) is an asset.

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, innovative environment.

• Fluency in English, with French knowledge preferred for cross-country collaboration.
