The Test Automation Engineer role is centered around ensuring efficient and high-quality testing processes within the organization, focusing on automating test cases and managing related activities to enhance software delivery processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Continuous Automation of newly created Test Cases
Maintain automation test code repository in alignment with best practices/standards
Manage Daily Test Automation Runs including results review
Update Automated Test Cases in repo and test management tool
Provide ongoing fixes and code changes
Plan & Execute regression tests for each release
Support team by early defect discovery and information sharing
Report defects including handling and verifying them
Recommend actions for the team after test executions
Identify new scenarios for automation and extend existing ones
Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality delivery
REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of experience in Manual & Automation Testing (Functional, System & Integration, API)
5+ years of experience in Test Automation
5+ years of experience in Python coding/test coding
3+ years of experience in API Automation Testing with REST API, SOAP
Practical experience with Robot Framework (3+ years)
Experience maintaining code in Bitbucket integrated with Jenkins
5+ years of experience with Remote repository (GIT)
3+ years of experience in test management tools (preferably qTest or HP ALM)
Experience defining, executing, and reporting tests for complex software systems
Understanding test data dependencies
Jira/Confluence practical experience
Excellent English communication skills
Nice to Have:
ISTQB Foundation Level certification
Experience working in an international, cross-country environment
Willingness to learn new tools and processes
