About the role
As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for defining and guiding the architectural vision of our Maintenance & Uptime Services Area. You will work closely with development teams, product stakeholders, and other architects to ensure that our solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with both business and technical strategy. Rather than focusing only on implementation, you will enable teams to build the right solutions in the right way. You will also shape how teams work by promoting strong engineering practices, enabling continuous delivery, and supporting the development of high-performing teams together with leadership. This is not a whiteboard architect role; you are expected to take lead for the tech part of the Uptime Services area and contribute hands-on to us delivering the right things faster and safer.
What you will do
Support and mentor developers and tech leads in architectural thinking
Define and evolve the overall domain architecture roadmap for Uptime Area
Guide teams in designing scalable, resilient, and maintainable systems
Ensure seamless integration and data flow across services and systems.
Drive critical architectural decisions around cloud (AWS), event-driven systems (Kafka) and distributed architectures
Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure consistency in design and best practices
Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term architectural sustainability
Evaluate new technologies, share with the teams and continuously improve the architecture
What we expect from you
Strong experience in software architecture and system design
Solid background in backend development (Python or similar)
Good understanding of frontend and fullstack environments
Deep experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
Deep knowledge of microservices and event-driven architectures
A passion for continuous delivery, with hands-on experience implementing and driving its core practices
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
Able to clearly articulate the advantages and disadvantages of the proposed solution to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
You are curious about AI and emerging technologies, and understand how to apply them pragmatically in real-world systems
