The Position:
As a Tech Lead for the LABS Team, you will drive and develop digital solutions based on iOS apps within the Product Supply business unit of client solving some of the most complex challenges of our production facilities. You will join a cross-functional Agile R&D team consisting of a Product Owner, UX/UI Designer, Automation Testers and Software Engineers. The team delivers solutions optimizing overall efficiency across the production sites in the client.
As we advance our software delivery methodologies, your primary challenge will involve transitioning from a manual stage-gate operational model to a highly automated Continuous Delivery flow-based software engineering process. During this transformation, you will implement extensive automation in your team while ensuring adherence to the stringent requirements of compliance and regulatory quality assurance teams. You will lead the transformation within your team, bridging the gap between technology and compliance, and coordinating with various stakeholders to achieve this ambitious goal.
Responsibilities:
As Tech Lead:
- Lead the transformative journey of the team from manual controls toward Continuous Delivery in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.
- Effectively manage business, IT and compliance stakeholders to achieve the overall automation and product delivery objectives.
- Build innovative iOS apps by writing code with a user-centric approach and following the agile principles of value-first and fail-fast.
- Drive decision making through effective communication and team collaboration.
- Run exploratory sprints, perform spikes, vet new technologies and tools to continuously innovate and improve your team’s operating model.
- Lead, guide and mentor software developers in your team.
As Technical Product Owner:
- Write detailed specifications as Agile User Stories with clear articulation of Definition of Done reflecting the requirements of compliance and regulatory quality assurance teams

Drive discussions between your team and regulatory quality assurance teams facilitating the transition to a fully automated modus operandi while conforming to stringent compliance requirements.
As Scrum Master:
- Facilitating Agile ceremonies (e.g. daily stand-ups, planning, reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinements) and coaching the team on achieving the goals of each iteration.
- Monitoring of team performance by using agile tools and metrics (e.g. cumulative flows, WiP limits, user story age, burndown charts).
- Constantly challenge, explore, innovate, learn and actively participate in our internal community of peer Tech Leads.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in software delivery automation within the pharmaceutical industry or a similar environment where compliance and regulatory requirements, such as GxP, are essential.
- Strong aptitude for driving technological and operational changes and transforming the team towards a desired future state while effectively managing stakeholder relationships.
- You are a natural leader who enjoys bringing others on a journey with you while facilitating difficult discussions across teams, cultures and geographies.
- You enjoy daily work with various stakeholders such as business, tech, compliance and regulatory.
- It would be a great advantage if you have experience from OR know how to work in a heavily regulated environment with stringent compliance requirements, such as GxP quality guidelines and regulations applied in the pharmaceutical industry.
- You know how to use Azure DevOps and CI/CD tools for mobile development
- You are fluent in English (both verbal and written)
- You have a product mindset and care about the user experience.
- You’re a team player, enjoy collaborating, mentoring and sharing your knowledge with other team members
- You should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, computer science or other relevant fields.
