Job description

Job title: Business Analyst (Taxonomy)

Up to 2 days onsite- London 

£500-550 p/d

6 months initial project (potienital extension)

We are seeking a Taxonomy Business Analyst to support a Finance Change Initiative. The ideal candidate will possess essential skills in business analysis, alongside a foundational understanding of PMO functions and a solid grasp of data management processes across various systems.

Main Responsibilities:
As a Taxonomy Business Analyst, you will be responsible for:
• Supporting a large-scale banking merger and entity set-up
• Driving taxonomy simplification across global frameworks
• Mapping and analysing finance data flows, traceability & audit processes
• Supporting system consolidation and finance architecture changes
• Working closely with finance and IT stakeholders in a compliance-heavy environment

Key Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Strong core Business Analysis experience
• Proven background in finance change programmes
• Deep understanding of data flows, ETL, and audit/compliance processes
• Experience in complex banking environments (highly regulated)
• Taxonomy experience
