SAP Tax & E-Reporting Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP Tax & E-Reporting Consultant to join an international project environment focused on e-invoicing, e-reporting, tax compliance, and SAP-based financial processes.

This role is ideal for a consultant who combines strong SAP technical expertise with a solid understanding of tax-related business processes. You will work closely with finance, supply chain, IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors to design, implement, and optimise SAP solutions that support compliant and efficient tax reporting.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.

• Define best practices, processes, and solution designs in collaboration with business and technical experts.

• Manage and resolve tax-related issues within the SAP environment.

• Implement and optimise reporting solutions to ensure compliance with tax regulations.

• Support e-invoicing and e-reporting initiatives.

• Work with SAP FI, SAP FI/CO, and SAP DRC — Document and Reporting Compliance.

• Support areas such as VAT reporting, withholding tax, tax compliance, and statutory reporting.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Supply Chain, Digital/IT teams, and external partners.

• Coordinate with vendors and support communication between technical and business stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain documentation related to SAP processes, procedures, and reporting solutions.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate should have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with technical tax topics in SAP FI/CO.

• Strong knowledge of SAP FI and SAP FI/CO processes.

• Practical experience with VAT reporting and withholding tax.

• Proven experience in implementing or managing e-reporting solutions.

• Experience with SAP DRC — Document and Reporting Compliance.

• Good understanding of tax compliance requirements.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex business problems.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

• Experience working with vendors and external partners.

• Ability to translate technical requirements into business language and business needs into technical solutions.

• Confidence in working in a line-of-business-facing role with multiple stakeholders.
