System Architect - Experience with Microsoft Azure

One of our clients in the banking industry is seeking a highly skilled System Architect with expertise in various architecture domains including Business, Information, System, Technical Architecture, and IT Security. The role involves driving the vision and creation of IT architecture aligned with business and IT strategies. A strong emphasis is placed on Microsoft Azure technologies and enterprise applications, requiring certified professionals with a robust background in software engineering and IT solution architecture.

Main Responsibilities:

As a System Architect, your core duties will include:

• Delivering quality outputs in accordance with the client’s standards and timelines.

• Guiding and governing architectural principles and best practices.

• Communicating complex concepts to enhance stakeholder understanding.

• Building relationships with architects and stakeholders to improve architecture.

• Advising stakeholders on resolving architectural issues.

• Fostering personal development and mentoring others.

• Driving strategic discussions to evolve architecture for efficiency.

• Analyzing stakeholder requirements and maintaining an overview of applications and IT infrastructure.

Key Requirements:

• Microsoft Azure certified (Azure Solutions Architect Expert), or equivalent experience.

• Experience in designing/setting up enterprise applications on Azure AKS.

• Experience in designing/setting up enterprise databases on Azure Postgres.

• Experience in designing/setting up integrations using Kafka for Azure applications.

• Business knowledge at a superior level.

• Software engineering expertise at a superior level.

• Experience with IT solution architecture.

• Experience in enterprise architecture.

• Conceptual thinking skills.

Nice to Have:
Additional skills that would be beneficial include:

• Experience from the Banking Industry / Financial Industry (highly preferred)
