System Architect - Core Banking

Hybrid model of work: 2 days a week office

Salary: up to about 170 PLN/H

Summary

The role involves working within a highly skilled team of architects and experts, reporting to the responsible line manager.

The position involves defining and driving the platform architecture for a Nordic-wide Core Banking Platform, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-value technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Document required Information Systems and Platform Enabler Capabilities
• Contribute to core documents like SDD and TRRD
• Track the latest developments in IT solutions
• Identify possibilities for architecture evolution
• Lead IT systems and infrastructure designs
• Develop and maintain architecture roadmaps for Core Banking Technology
• Work with Product Management to drive the delivery of technology solutions
• Guide and govern architectural principles and best practices
• Participate in IT solution reviews based on strategy
• Define and manage Non-Functional requirements
• Coach developers and teams on key knowledge areas
• Build relationships to improve IT architecture

Requirements:

• Proven stakeholder management experience in IT
• Strong banking background with core banking transformation experience
• Expertise in IT solution architecture
• Experience in IT infrastructure and technical architecture
• Conceptual thinking abilities

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with Hadoop, Kafka, and Cloudera
• Knowledge of Oracle Exadata and RAC
• Experience with microservices and containerization principles
• Agile methodologies (SAFe preferred)
• Cloud service familiarity (PaaS solutions)
