Due to continued growth, we are hiring an Solution Architect to join our client in Dublin. Our consultancy specializes in providing business and technology services to clients in all sectors.

You will work with other IT stakeholders to deliver business sponsored projects and/or take architect role in a continuous delivery team following a waterfall or agile lifecycle.

A snapshot of your key responsibilities:

·       Carry out activities as noted under the oversight of the IT project manager(s), and solution architecture line manager,

·       Lead the solution design activities with the IT project/CD team and our partners to shape solution options, providing appropriate challenge to stakeholders and influencing decisions;

·       Lead the development of the solution design and design documentation in line with the scope of project/requirement and in compliance with architectural strategies (vision and roadmap) and principles, taking that design through architectural governance;

·       Carry out due diligence in identifying the preferred solution(s) and adhering to the policies and standards in the areas of security, technology, infrastructure, service delivery and quality assurance in order to ensure business solutions bring real value to the organisation;

·       Support the preparation of functional, and lead the preparation of non- functional requirements providing guidance to the product owner and other project/CD stakeholders in the definition and prioritisation of those requirements;

·       Build and maintain relationships with other architects, IT delivery, other IT stakeholders and our partners to influence decisions made in respect of solution design and delivery as required;

·       Work with Project Managers on developing key task input for project plans, estimating work effort, and in the development and management of the risk log.

Requirements:

• 4 – 6 years of experience as a Solution Architect with financial services, regulatory, and business engagement experience.

• A diploma/degree qualification in IT, or equivalent.

• Demonstrable experience of Solution Design and Architecture providing technical solutions to business needs, across the technology layers (database, backend, integration, and UX).

• Ability to produce concise, accurate solution designs subject to architecture governance, which align with architectural strategy and which meet business requirements.

• Experience across some or all Microsoft technologies: .Net, C#, MS SQL Server and MS Dynamics 365, MS Azure Platform services, and Ms Power Platform.

• Experience of the design of cloud native business solutions, cloud hybrid solutions or the migration of solutions from on-premises to cloud is preferred.

• Knowledge of architectural modelling tools and frameworks. In particular EA Sparx, Archimate, and C4 would be beneficial.

• Strong interpersonal skills and senior stakeholder engagement skills.

Opportunity type: 12-month contract, Hybrid in Dublin
