Senior Transition Manager

A client is looking for a Senior Transition Manager to lead the transition of operations within infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a solid understanding of project management and possess significant experience in handling complex service transitions.

Main Responsibilities

• Define the end-to-end transition strategy and phased transition plan

• Describe transition activities, milestones, dependencies, and quality gates

• Estimate transition costs and document assumptions, risks, and cost drivers

• Define governance for the transition program, including decision rights and escalation

• Describe cooperation and interfaces with the customer and other stakeholders during the transition period

• Define customer responsibilities, inputs, approvals, and acceptance activities

• Define transition project management methods, controls, and reporting

• Define risk management, issue management, and change control during transition

• Ensure alignment between transition activities and operational readiness criteria

• Define handover from transition to steady-state operations

• Support clarification responses related to transition, cost, and customer involvement.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as Transition Manager on large, mission-critical IT infrastructure or public sector operational contracts

• Demonstrated ownership of complex service transitions with high availability and security requirements

• Experience estimating and structuring transition costs for formal tender submissions

• Strong understanding of transition governance, project management, and service acceptance

• Experience working with customers in regulated or high-assurance environments

• Ability to produce precise, structured, and auditable tender documentation

• Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills

• Ability to operate under fixed deadlines and high scrutiny

• Fluent in Danish - oral and written.

Start: As soon as possible

End: When the bid is delivered ultimo 2026. The contract will start off as a 3-month contract. If successful, there is potential for extended engagement.
