Summary: An opportunity at a global retail and distribution organization seeking a QA Automation Engineer to enhance its automated testing capabilities for high-traffic web and mobile applications. This role is essential for ensuring quality and reliability in tech systems that support millions of customers daily.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for web and mobile applications using Selenium and BDD frameworks (Cucumber).

• Develop and scale test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API services.

• Perform API testing and automation using Postman or Rest Assured.

• Enhance automation frameworks to keep pace with evolving product needs.

• Write and manage clear test plans, test cases, and scripts for traceability.

• Execute manual and automated tests; manage defects using Jira.

• Estimate, prioritize, and plan testing activities in agile teams.

• Conduct functional and integration testing of complex systems.

• Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines with Git, Gradle/Maven, and Jenkins.

• Participate in sprint ceremonies and act as the quality champion in your squad.

Must Haves:

• 6+ years in Functional Requirement Gathering.

• 6+ years with Selenium and BDD Automation.

• 4+ years experience with Cucumber.

• 6+ years of Core Java.

• 4+ years in API Automation (Karate, Rest Assured).

• 2+ years with Git.

• 3+ years on Automation Framework Implementation.

• 1+ year using Build Tools (Gradle/Maven).

• 1+ year with CI/CD and Jenkins.

• 2+ years with Postman.

• 2+ years in Database Testing.

Nice to Haves:

• 2+ years in Mobile Test Automation (Appium, Calabash, etc.).

• Knowledge of Karate API Framework.

• 1+ year experience with Splunk.
