Senior Test Automation Engineer (C#)

Summary: The role of the Senior Test Automation Engineer is crucial for ensuring high-quality software delivery through automated testing practices in an agile environment, facilitating system integrations and maintaining the overall quality assurance strategy.

Main Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing automated test cases for system integrations using a C# test framework.

• Contributing to the definition of the test plan and quality approach for the team.

• Working collaboratively with the agile team to secure high-quality deliveries.

• Monitoring and maintaining existing regression test packs.

• Analyzing, debugging, and reporting defects found during testing.

• Documenting and monitoring test results.

• Recommending actions based on test results.

• Resolving daily impediments and communicating risks.

• Improving and extending the current framework solution as needed.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in API test automation.

• Minimum 2 years of experience with C# or Java.

• Experience with integration testing.

• Experience with XML and JSON processing.

• Experience with SQL.

• Experience with GIT.

• Experience with JIRA.

• Proficiency in continuous integration tools (Bamboo or Jenkins).

• General testing knowledge to the level of ISTQB Foundation Level.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with REST API, IBM MQ, Apache Kafka.

• Experience in Agile Projects and Continuous Integration.

• Familiarity with the Banking Domain.

• Experience with AI agents for coding.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
