Role: Senior Programme / Project Manager (Financial Services & Investment Technology)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Programme / Project Manager to support the delivery of strategic transformation initiatives for a leading financial technology provider, collaborating with major financial institutions and investment organizations across the Middle East. This role is ideal for professionals with a robust background in large-scale Financial Services programmes, particularly in Asset Management, Investment Management, Capital Markets, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Pension Funds, or Government Investment Entities.
The successful candidate will manage complex, multi-vendor programmes, overseeing cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery across all phases.
- Lead and manage large-scale business and technology transformation programmes within the Financial Services sector.
- Drive end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, governance, risk management, and successful implementation.
- Establish and maintain robust project governance frameworks, steering committees, and executive reporting structures.
- Manage programme budgets, financial forecasting, resource planning, and vendor performance.
- Lead change management activities to ensure successful business adoption and stakeholder engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with executive sponsors, C-level stakeholders, and client leadership teams.
- Coordinate delivery across geographically distributed teams, third-party vendors, and multiple workstreams.
- Monitor programme risks, dependencies, and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and technology delivery.
- Provide regular progress updates to internal leadership and client stakeholders.
- 10+ years of Programme and Project Management experience delivering complex enterprise initiatives.
- Strong experience in delivering projects within the Financial Services industry, notably on the buy-side.

- Extensive experience working for consulting firms, system integrators, or technology vendors delivering strategic programmes.
- Strong experience managing large teams across multiple countries and locations.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex stakeholder environments involving executive leadership and external partners.
- Experience delivering projects in the Middle East, particularly focusing on Saudi Arabia.
- Experience in highly regulated environments.
- Experience delivering SimCorp Dimension implementation or transformation programmes.
- Experience with investment platform transformations, front-to-back office implementations, or operating model changes.
- Familiarity with investment operations, including IBOR, ABOR, Fund Accounting, Portfolio Management, Custody, or Investment Operations.
- Experience working with large global technology vendors or financial software providers.
- Exposure to Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
This role requires current residence in Saudi Arabia or willingness to relocate to Riyadh. Flexibility to support future regional projects, including potential opportunities in Qatar, is needed.
