Senior Production Director

We are looking for a Senior Production Director to our gaming client. 

Start: 1st of April

Length: 10 months with possible extension

Location: Must be on-site in Stockholm minimum 3 days per week

Role overview  

Are you passionate about leading cross-functional teams to create incredible game experiences? As a Senior Production Director  for one of our unannounced games, you will be at the heart of game development, ensuring that operations are smooth, the product value is catered for and that goals and direction is clear. You will have the opportunity to provide leadership through influence, guiding and collaborating with teams to bring the game’s creative vision to life.  

In this position, you will work closely with a diverse group of craft leads, ensuring the successful execution through all project phases. You’ll be the key liaison between lead producers, cross-disciplinary teams, and stakeholders, driving collaboration to manage roadmaps, prioritize backlogs, mitigate risks, and align project timelines.

Responsibilities  

Product Development & Strategy: 

• Drive the development process within specific projects ensuring alignment with the broader product vision and strategy. 

• Promote and evolve best practices for product development and project management across the team. 

• Partner with external teams and stakeholders to optimize production strategies and build strategic relationships. 

• Lead development cycle planning, aligning producers to ensure seamless execution of the project. 

• Evaluate and implement the right project management tools and frameworks to enable high-performing teams to excel. 
   

Leadership: 

• Act as the central link between leadership groups and development teams, translating high-level strategies into actionable steps. 

• Ensure clear communication flows between leadership and teams, ensuring guidance and feedback are effectively translated into tangible actions. 

• Lead through influence, creating an environment where cross-functional teams feel supported, motivated, and aligned with the game's vision. 
   

Requirements 

• Have an excellent experience from the games industry and knowledge of games platforms and publishing processes in relation to realizing games/product strategy. 

• Played an active leading role in delivering multiple games from development through release. 

• • Have an excellent understanding of product development and production frameworks and facilitate knowledge sharing and discussion in producer teams.
