Senior Network Specialist (m/f/d)

Summary: This role involves providing senior-level support for the Patch and End-of-Life (EoL) Management of network infrastructure, ensuring the security, stability, and availability of network components within a managed environment. The client environment is heavily DC-driven (Nexus, vPC, ACI, Multipod, Fabrics).

Main Responsibilities:

• Technical planning and execution of network updates

• Preparation of required activities and creation of change documentation

• Presentation of planned activities in various Change Advisory Boards (CABs)

• Implementation and post-review of updates

• Support for team members in complex cases and challenging updates

• Assistance with service requests within the network environment

• Operational environments

• Regulated financial environments

• Change windows outside of business hours

Key Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of network architectures and technologies

• Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus

• Practical experience with technical changes within Datacenters.

• Practical exposure to ACI (not just theoretical)

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco, F5, or ADVA.

• Experience with GitLab and Ansible

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Strong communication skills and confidence in dealing with stakeholders

• Willingness to work outside regular business hours

• Excellent English skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience in a bank-regulated environment

• German knowledge
