Principal Engineer Network and Cybersecurity

In this role, you will be part of the Front-End and Project Delivery Team, delivering essential know-how to offshore solutions, including green technologies, to support sustainable business growth. 

The team is responsible for delivering Front-End engineering solutions and, in some cases, taking technical responsibility for delivery and start-up. The team consists of technical experts who provide solutions and guide other engineers across OPS.

As a Principal Engineer, Network and Cybersecurity, you are expected to provide in-depth technical expertise and drive network and cybersecurity solutions for offshore environments. Close collaboration with peers and cross-functional teams is central to this role. 

What you will be doing?

• Lead technical solutions within network and cybersecurity for SAS/ICSS solutions

• Lead, develop, and implement SAS/ICSS technical solutions 

• Define system requirements for brownfield and greenfield projects

• Act as a SAS/ICSS network advisor Provide technical expertise for studies, FEEDs, tenders, and project deliveries

• Stay up to date with technological developments

Requirements:

• We think you should have Bachelor’s or master’s degree in automation, cybernetics, robotics, IT, electrical engineering, or a related technical field

• Relevant work experience may substitute for formal education Strong background in design, testing, and delivery of SAS/ICSS systems

• Experience establishing access policies for OT infrastructure and systems

• Experience with relevant frameworks to ensure compliance with industry and customer standards

• Experience in industrial offshore automation

• Strong communication skills

• Prior experience with offshore automation and control systems is desirable
