Senior JD Edwards (E1) Developer

The JD Edwards (E1) ERP Developers will play a key role in establishing an ERP Development Center of Excellence in Porto, Portugal, focusing on building a development team

The JD Edwards Developers will contribute to process redesign, continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to best practices, governance standards, and high-quality delivery.

The team will hold end-to-end responsibility for delivery within ERP Development, including Incident Management, ITIL processes, KPI tracking, and Quality Assurance. A strong focus on outcomes, efficiency, and continuous optimization will be essential.

Required Skills & Competencies

JD Edwards (E1)

• Strong experience with the E1 development lifecycle.

• Solid understanding of E1 applications.

• Proven expertise in:

  • FDA (Form Design Aid)

  • RDA (Report Design Aid)

  • NER (Named Event Rules)

  • BSSV (Business Services)

  • Table and view design

Functional Module Experience

• Experience with at least 2 of the following JD Edwards modules:

  • Finance

  • Distribution

  • Manufacturing

  • Sales

Technical skills:

• C programming (at least one team member must be proficient).

• Experience with:

  • Orchestration Studio

  • Scripting languages (e.g., Groovy) – deep expertise required within the team.

Communication & Collaboration

• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

• Proactive mindset:

  • Close collaboration with business analysts.

  • Ensure requirements and specifications are continuously updated.
