Senior Java Developer

INDUSTRY: banking

LOCATION: Gdansk (hybrid: 1/2 days a week in the office)

REMUNERATION: up to 170 pln/h, B2B

The main function of the Senior Java Developer role is to contribute to the development and implementation of digital API services in the context of the Payment Services Directive, focusing on enhancing the banking services for business customers within a collaborative agile team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement APIs for the Payment Services Directive project.
• Collaborate within an Agile team environment to deliver banking solutions.
• Support the maintenance and improvement of a new common API platform.
• Work on digital services aimed at business banking customers across Nordic countries.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software development and engineering.
• Proficiency in Java 21 and Spring Boot.
• Familiar with Microservices architecture.
• Experience with Oracle, GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong collaboration skills and team-oriented mindset.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Java Reactive programming.
• Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience building highly available applications.
