Senior Java Developer

Location: Gdańsk (twice a week in the office)

Contract: B2B

Rate: up to 165 pln net/h

Summary:

The primary goal of this role is to integrate legacy and new systems at Client with vendor systems for card transactions, ensuring seamless communication and functionality through effective microservice development.

Main Responsibilities:

• Integrate legacy systems with new vendor systems for card transactions.
• Develop translation/routing mechanisms between old and new systems.
• Create and maintain microservices architecture.

Key Requirements:

• At least 5 years of Java Software Development experience.
• At least 4 years of experience with Spring framework.
• Hands-on experience with Java versions 8 to 17 (version 11 preferred).
• Experience with Spring Boot (Web or Webflux).
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD practices.
• Understanding of design patterns.
• Experience building RESTful Web Services.
• Effective communication skills in English (both written and spoken).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SOAP services.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Kafka.
• Understanding of Message Queuing (MQ) technologies.
