• Summary: The Senior IT Operations Specialist role focuses on maintaining and optimizing critical applications related to Know Your Customer (KYC) legacy systems, ensuring stability, performance, and compliance within the financial services environment.

Main Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the operational integrity of key applications.

• Maintain and support critical applications to ensure stability and performance of key platforms.

• Manage incidents, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to restore services promptly.

• Monitor applications and manage performance using various diagnostic tools.

• Develop scripts and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.

• Support change processes and release cycles in accordance with ITIL standards.

• Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance with requirements.

• Manage infrastructure and container environments using Kubernetes and Docker.

• Drive continuous service improvement initiatives leveraging agile practices.

Key Requirements

• Problem solving, incident management, and change handling experience.

• Understanding of the ITIL framework.

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage systems, databases).

• Familiarity with Kubernetes architecture, pods, and services.

• Experience with monitoring tools such as PDC, Sysdig, AppDynamics, and Grafana.

• Hands-on Linux troubleshooting skills.

• Good understanding of Docker container technology.

• Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python).

• Experience in agile work environments.

• KYC business process knowledge and banking domain experience.

• Ability to coordinate complex tasks and activities across teams.

• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance requirements.

• Knowledge of the Pega platform is a significant advantage.
