Senior Frontend Vue Developer

Business trips: Possible if you’d like to - every 6 months Denmark/Warsaw.

You will join the Digital Products (DP), a unit in Digital Data & IT acting as a trusted advisor and partner on greenfield software development ventures helping business areas realise digital. The client continues to invest in digital products to enable the business to reach its strategic objectives. They, in the Digital Products, are partnering with the business to bring digital innovation ideas to life and mature our ways of working within digital products. 

They are four dedicated DP teams responsible for designing, developing, and operating digital products in collaboration with the business i.e., Research & Early Development, Development, Product Supply, and Commercial. You will become a part of an inspiring, and ambitious work environment, where modern software development methodologies, tools, teamwork, and a growth mindset is key. 

What’s the role about?  

As a Senior Front End Developer you have a strong technical background in developing, testing, and maintaining products built using modern SPA frameworks such as Vue. You will join the team which is responsible for the development and DevOps of the application. The application consists of an front end built on Vue and a C# backend hosted in Azure.

The product team consists of a PO, a Scrum Master, a Tech Lead and a team of developers spanning the range of technologies. We are live at two research areas. We are looking for you as we are scaling the software to more areas and expand on features and services.

Qualifications and Expectations 

In the role of a Senior Frontend Developer, your responsibilities are to: 

• Develop, test, and maintain our app built in TypeScript using Vue.
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement new features and functionalities.
• Optimize and improve the performance of existing systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to the team.

As an ideal candidate we expect you have: 

• MSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in developing solutions using TypeScript or JavaScript. 
• Strong experience in Azure cloud computing platform and services. 
• Experience with Vue.js and other modern JavaScript frameworks & HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript and TypeScript. 
• Strong knowledge of software development principles and design patterns as well as problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience in Agile development methodology, test-driven development and continuous integration.
