Senior Data Scientist Manager

emagine is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Data Scientist Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional skills in data science, machine learning, and a strong proficiency in programming with Python. We require a consultant who can effectively bridge the gap between technical data solutions and actionable business outcomes, ensuring that our clients receive top-tier advice and implementation support. Full-time availability is preferred, and remote work is accepted with occasional onsite visits.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement advanced machine learning models to solve complex business problems.
• Perform comprehensive data analysis and interpretation to inform strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven insights.
• Manage large datasets and perform data preprocessing and feature engineering.
• Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in data science.
• Managing other people and sharing knowledge.

Key Requirements:

• 7-10 + years of experience as a Data Scientist, with proven expertise in machine learning.
• Solid proficiency in Python and popular machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience designing and deploying end-to-end machine learning solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps practices.
• Strong understanding of statistics and mathematics in the context of model development.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking skills, and innovative solution proposals.
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
• Fluency in Polish is essential.
• People management.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision techniques.
• Additional programming skills in R, SQL, Java, etc.
• Experience with big data tools like Hadoop or Spark.
