Senior Consultant – Automation & Virtualization (remote in Europe)

Profile:

Experienced expert in VMware-based virtualization and automation in enterprise data centers. In-depth knowledge of storage, databases, monitoring, Ansible, and midrange/enterprise systems. Responsible for high-quality technical implementations, quality assurance, and the execution of complex designs.

Main Tasks:

• Implementation of technical designs in the data center environment

• Conducting code and concept reviews

• Ensuring the quality of services (detailed concepts, implementation, staging)

• Advising service experts (3rd level support)

• Selecting suitable tools, frameworks, and platforms

• Contributing to market analyses and collaborating with architects

Required Skills

• Several years of experience in data center operations (UNIX/Windows, virtualization, midrange/enterprise systems)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Independent and structured work style

• Excellent communication skills in German (written and spoken)

• Skillful handling of stakeholders

• Strong practical orientation in implementations

Other Details:

This role is remote and can be performed from anywhere in Europe. The focus will be on delivering high-quality automation and virtualization solutions in data center environments.
