Senior Cloud Engineer

The Cloud Engineer is responsible for developing and supporting AWS-based services within a multi-account organizational structure. This role combines roadmap-driven feature development with operational responsibility for business-critical services, requiring strong expertise in infrastructure-as-code, cloud governance, and security tooling.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new roadmap features within AWS-based environments.

• Operate within AWS Organisations across multiple enterprise accounts.

• Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform in a native AWS context.

• Implement solutions using Python with test-driven development principles.

• Work with AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config, Security Hub, and Inspector.

• Contribute to vulnerability management and patch management practices.

• Apply DevOps principles in CI/CD pipelines using GitHub-based workflows.

• Administer and govern models within AWS.

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience in Cloud Development and AWS services.

• Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code, particularly using Terraform.

• Skilled in security tooling and governance frameworks in cloud environments.

• Experienced in Python development with test-driven methodologies.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices, particularly in CI/CD implementations.

• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
