Due to continued growth, we are hiring an ambitious and self-motivated Senior Business Analyst to join our client in the insurance industry. This role is ideal for a self-starter who can demonstrates exceptional requirements gathering and process mapping skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to flex and adapt to evolving business priorities as required. The successful candidate will be eager to learn, keen to develop, and possess a strong initiative, working collaboratively with both business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
· Process Mapping: Lead the analysis and documentation of both current ("as is") and future ("to be") business processes using Microsoft Visio, ensuring clarity and actionable insights for all stakeholders. Maintain a comprehensive library of process documentation to support ongoing business needs and continuous improvement.
· Requirements Elicitation: Lead workshops, interviews, and meetings to gather business and functional needs, ensuring all requirements are clearly documented as user stories in Jira in a manner that is easily understood by both business and technical users.
· Testing: Support testing activities including test case development and execution ensuring comprehensive test coverage and resolve defects promptly. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions in support of business readiness
· Collaboration: Work closely with business users and development teams to ensure requirements are understood and solutions are fit for purpose.
· Change Request Discipline: Maintain discipline around change requests, ensuring that all requests are properly documented, assessed, prioritised, and managed through appropriate processes.
· Focus on High Value Delivery: Proactively support the identification, analysis, and delivery of high value items, ensuring effort is directed towards initiatives with significant business impact.
· Business Readiness Support: Support business readiness tasks, including preparation of training materials, user communications, and ensuring stakeholders are equipped for upcoming changes.
· Stakeholder Management: Proactively engage, influence, and manage relationships with stakeholders across all business areas to understand needs and manage expectations regarding deliverables, timelines, and priorities.
· Communications: Communicate effectively and professionally with stakeholders at all levels, tailoring messages to diverse audiences including business teams and developers.
· Project Management: Assist project managers in planning and delivery as required.
· Multi-tasking: Effectively manage multiple deliverables and projects simultaneously, prioritising workload based on business needs.
· Flexibility: Adapt quickly to changing business priorities and requirements, demonstrating resilience and resourcefulness.
· Cross-functional Working: Engage confidently with any business area, demonstrating a breadth of understanding and versatility.
Requirements:
· Minimum 8 years’ experience working as a Business Analyst in complex environments.
· Expertise in process mapping using Microsoft Visio.
· Proven stakeholder management skills, with experience across varied business areas.
· Strong requirements elicitation and documentation abilities.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work with both business and technical teams, bridging the gap between requirements and solutions.
· Experience in test and project management is an advantage.
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables concurrently.
· Hard-working, flexible, and able to thrive under pressure.

Opportunity type: Initial 3-month contract (possibility of extension), Hybrid in Dublin 24
