Senior Analytics Engineer with Looker

Summary: The Senior Analytics Engineer plays a crucial role in optimizing the use of data analytics within a prominent British fashion brand's e-commerce project. The primary objective of this role is to enhance and architect data solutions that support the brand's e-commerce strategy.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data models to support analytics and reporting.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions.

• Ensure data quality and governance throughout the analytics lifecycle.

• Maintain and optimize the Looker environment for reporting and dashboarding.

• Provide insights from data analysis to inform business decisions.

• Train and support team members and stakeholders in data tools.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a similar role.

• Proven experience with Google BigQuery and Looker (LookML) in a production environment.

• Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling best practices (e.g., star/snowflake schemas).

• Familiarity with dbt or similar transformation tools.

• Strong understanding of data governance, lineage, and documentation.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• English: min. B2 proficiency.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with TMS data structures and logistics/supply chain data is a strong plus.
