SDLC Automation Engineer- (h/f)

Summary:

The role of the SDLC Automation Engineer is central to enhancing the efficiency of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within the Finance Data and Analytics team of a global banking client. The primary objective is to design, build, and operationalize automation processes, ensuring quality and security throughout the development workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Automate generation of acceptance criteria, test cases, and unit tests.

• Develop intelligent code review agents for static analysis and secure coding practices.

• Implement automated validation pipelines to streamline testing processes.

• Integrate automation tools with JIRA and Micro Focus ALM Octane.

• Create connectors, webhooks, and maintain API integrations.

• Incorporate automation within CI/CD pipelines and facilitate continuous testing with automated quality gates.

• Collaborate across teams to enhance workflow efficiency and lead proof of concepts (PoCs) for AI-assisted development.

Key Requirements

• Strong experience in Python.

• Experience with JIRA and Octane APIs.

• Comprehensive knowledge of SDLC, quality assurance, and unit testing.

• Experience with DevOps pipelines (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins).

• Familiarity with AI/LLM automation frameworks.

Key Requirements

• Familiarity with SonarQube and Testing methodologies (BDD, SAST/DAST).

• ISTQB, DevOps, or Atlassian certifications (preferred).
