Summary
The SAP Security Architect plays a vital role in defining and leading the SAP security strategy and governance for a global SAP landscape, ensuring compliance and security across critical business processes.
Main Responsibilities:
The role includes the primary duty of defining and owning the SAP security architecture (on-prem and cloud).
Define and own the SAP security architecture (on-prem and cloud).
Drive security-by-design across all SAP programs.
Engage with stakeholders and vendors to shape direction and delivery outcomes.
Present SAP security posture, risks, and roadmap to senior leadership.
Lead design and implementation of SAP authorisation concepts.
Streamline and govern role lifecycle processes.
Secure SAP Fiori front-end and SAP Gateway.
Design secure authentication and SSO patterns.
Implement SAP BTP security models.
Lead SAP security controls design for audits.
Provide technical leadership to SAP security teams.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or related field.
15–20 years of relevant SAP Security experience.
Deep expertise in SAP authorisations and security administration.
Strong experience with S/4HANA security.
Proven SAP cybersecurity experience.
Nice to Have:
Experience with SAP GRC Access Control.
Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA).
Experience in regulated environments.
Experience with SAP security vulnerability management tools.
