SAP Basis Administration

Summary: The SAP Basis Administrator will be a key member of our SAP BASIS team in Pune, India, responsible for handling BAU activities and managing our diverse SAP landscape. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of technical expertise administering SAP systems hosted in AWS or Azure and have experience managing SAP on Linux, as well as a good understanding of SAP HANA and SAP ASE (Sybase). Hands-on experience with SAP BTP and SAP Datasphere will be considered a plus.

Main Responsibilities:
* Handle BAU SAP Basis activities, including system copies (SAP Refreshes), system monitoring (availability, performance, and capacity), troubleshooting, configurations, patchings, etc.
* Conduct system performance analysis and tuning, ensuring HA/DR setup and monitoring.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues affecting our SAP systems or Satellite Apps, demonstrating the ability to navigate through different applications, databases, and operating systems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support SAP projects, including implementations, migrations, and upgrades.
* Perform system health checks, help define and enforce SAP security and all audit-related controls, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
* Apply support packages, kernel upgrades, and security patches.
* Document technical procedures, system configurations, and best practices.

Key Requirements:
* At least 5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration
* Proficient with SAP systems hosted in AWS or Azure
* Experience managing SAP on Linux
* Good understanding of SAP HANA and SAP ASE (Sybase)

Nice to Have:
* Hands-on experience with SAP BTP
* Familiarity with SAP Datasphere
* Relevant SAP, Cloud and OS/DB courses, workshops, certifications
* Awareness of the latest SAP technologies, tools, and best practices
