SAP Finance Solution Architect (SAP ECC & S/4HANA)

Location: Ok with remote, but preferred Warsaw or Poznań office working min. 3-4 days per week onsite a 1-2 day remote

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Finance Solution Architect to support the design, implementation, and optimization of our SAP financial systems. You will serve as a key external advisor, working closely with internal teams to ensure scalable and future-proof finance solutions across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and roadmap for SAP Finance (FI/CO) solutions within the global SAP landscape.

• Act as a trusted advisor for SAP S/4HANA transition projects, ensuring best practices across ECC to S/4HANA migration.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and implementation partners to gather and translate business requirements into functional and technical SAP solutions.

• Own the template design and global rollout of Finance processes, ensuring alignment with corporate standards.

• Integrate SAP Finance with related modules (MM, SD, PS, Asset Accounting, Group Reporting).

• Support and guide fit-gap analysis, solution blueprinting, and deployment for various entities.

• Ensure compliance, data integrity, and process harmonization across countries and legal entities.

• Provide expertise in change impact assessments, solution validation, and testing activities.

• Deliver architectural documentation, training materials, and user guidance as needed.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 8+ years of SAP Finance (FI/CO) experience, including ECC and S/4HANA projects.

• Deep understanding of core financial processes: General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Controlling (CO), and Group Reporting.

• At least 2 full-cycle implementations, including one on SAP S/4HANA.

• Proven experience in solution architecture, template design, and multi-country rollouts.

• Strong understanding of integration touchpoints with logistics and procurement modules.

• Solid grasp of SAP Best Practices, Fiori UX, and Activate methodology.

• Fluency in English (written and verbal).

• Polish language is a plus.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the manufacturing industry or shared service center environments.

• Familiarity with tools like SAP Signavio, Solution Manager, or SAP BTP.

• Knowledge of localization and tax compliance in the European context.

• Certification in SAP S/4HANA Finance (optional but advantageous).
