Summary

The Release Manager role focuses on ensuring high-quality, efficient release management operations for payment technology platforms and applications, facilitating IT initiatives while meeting company standards and stakeholder expectations.

Main Responsibilities:

As a Release Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the release process from planning to execution. Your core duties will include:

• Coordinating, planning, and maintaining the release roadmap for applications.

• Planning and coordinating multiple parallel releases and their go-live activities.

• Tracking change activities throughout the release process.

• Leading release decision meetings to secure stakeholder approvals.

• Setting up handover sessions from development to operations teams.

• Improving release quality by integrating automation and DevOps methodologies.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in IT or related fields.

• 7+ years of IT project management and planning experience.

• Previous experience in release or deployment management, ideally in the banking sector.

• Familiarity with ITIL, incident, problem, and change management processes.

• Understanding of DevOps methodologies.

• Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Confluence).

• Experience with continuous integration and deployment practices.

• Broad understanding of business aspects alongside IT knowledge.

• Exceptional communication skills to liaise with development teams.

• Passion for developing automated release pipelines using industry-leading tools.

Nice to Have:

• Java and Mainframe (MF) skills.
