Summary:
The role of Release Manager focuses on ensuring efficient and high-quality release management for IT initiatives, guaranteeing that new releases to technology platforms and applications are planned and executed in compliance with company standards.

Main Responsibilities:
The Release Manager will coordinate and oversee the planning and deployment of releases while ensuring compliance with company standards. Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and maintaining the release roadmap for various applications.

• Planning and coordinating multiple parallel releases and deployment activities.

• Leading decision meetings and securing stakeholder approvals for releases.

• Planning handover sessions from development to operations teams.

• Improving release quality through automation and DevOps practices.

Key Requirements:
To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in IT or related fields.

• 5+ years of IT project management and planning experience.

• Proficient in spoken and written English.

• Previous experience in release or deployment management, preferably in the banking sector.

• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies.

• Experience with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Digital.ai).

• Background in automation of release and deployment activities.
