Regulatory Compliance Specialist with NIS2 experience

Short project introduction
We are seeking a consultant to support a portfolio of compliance and cybersecurity initiatives related to NIS2, the Danish energy sector’s strengthened preparedness requirements, and ISO 27001.
The role focuses on helping the organisation translate regulatory demands into practical implementation while driving progress across projects in a maturing, cross‑functional environment.

Must-have competencies

• Strong experience with compliance, GRC, or cybersecurity implementation

• Ability to translate complex regulatory and technical requirements into concrete actions

• Proven stakeholder management skills across technical teams and senior leadership

• Hands-on project coordination/execution experience

• Solid understanding of NIS2, ISO 27001/27002, and regulatory compliance frameworks

• Ability to create structure, overview, and clarity in an organisation with low maturity

• Practical understanding of technical areas such as access management, backup, and network segmentation (not as specialist, but able to ask the right questions)

• Strong communication skills — especially in preparing and facilitating steering committee communication
