QA Engineer

The role of QA Engineer focuses on ensuring high-quality software development through automated testing, primarily API testing, within a multi-disciplinary team responsible for various educational products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive consensus on quality guidelines and requirements.

• Ensure team deliverables meet quality standards through automated testing.

• Accountability for complex assignments and end results.

• Perform 100% automation of testing tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in API testing, particularly using Rest Assured

• Strong knowledge of Java 17+

• Basic familiarity with TypeScript or JavaScript

• Introductory experience with testing frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright

• Understanding of Relational or NoSQL databases

• Experience with tools for code quality and version control (e.g., SonarQube, Git, Bitbucket)

• Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools such as Maven, Nexus, Git, Bitbucket, and SonarQube

• Ability to build and debug applications locally

• Very good command of English, both written and spoken

• Comfortable working in an Agile development environment

• A strong team player with excellent collaboration skills

• Solid problem-solving and analytical abilities

• Effective communication skills within the team and across functions

NICE TO HAVE:

• Pipelines/bash experience

• Knowledge of Kubernetes/Docker/AWS

• Familiarity with BDD/Cucumber
