QA Engineer
Work model: Hybrid/ Warsaw (1–2 times per month from office)
Type of contract: B2B
About the role:
We are looking for a proactive and self-driven QA Engineer who thrives in a dynamic, start-up-like environment. This person should be comfortable taking initiative, independently identifying tasks, and working with minimal supervision. The role is ideal for someone who truly enjoys test design—thinking through scenarios, identifying edge cases, and ensuring product quality through thoughtful testing approaches.
Responsibilities:
Test Design & Test Strategy
Designing effective test cases and scenarios (not limited to automation).
Ensuring test coverage for new features based on documentation, user flows, and system behavior.
Thinking critically about how to break and validate the system.
Manual & Automated Testing
Performing manual testing where needed, especially at early development stages.
Contributing to test automation (primary focus long-term) using Python.
Previous experience with Python is not required.
Feature Verification
Testing new features based on available documentation.
Working closely with developers to understand implementation details and ensure coverage at the code and API levels.
API, Web, and Database Testing
Testing API endpoints, frontend behavior, and database interactions.
Experience with API testing is welcome, but not mandatory.
CI/CD Collaboration
Basic understanding of CI/CD is helpful but can be learned on the job.
Working With Developers
Collaborating directly with developers and working closely with application code.
Helping define and implement test automation strategies within the development workflow.
Team Scenario
Working in a small, two-person QA function (currently).
Requirements:
1–3 years of experience in QA (manual or automation).
A passion for test design is more important than programming experience.
Strong analytical thinking and an ownership mindset.
