Senior QA Tester (Manual Testing) – Poland / Barcelona Travel (SP/IF/VL)

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Tester to support enterprise application testing within an Agile delivery environment. This role focuses heavily on manual testing, API validation, and Windows-based application testing.

The position is primarily based in Poland, with occasional travel to Barcelona (approximately once per month). Travel costs will be reimbursed.

Role Overview

The Senior QA Tester will be responsible for designing, executing, and managing comprehensive manual testing activities across the full software development lifecycle. The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in Agile teams, and the ability to work closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute manual test plans and test cases across functional, regression, integration, system, and QA testing phases

• Perform API testing using Postman, including creating collections and validating responses

• Test web and desktop applications running on Windows environments

• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

• Manage test cases, defects, and reporting using Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), or qTest

• Perform backend validation using SQL queries to confirm database integrity and system data flows

• Analyze requirements and system interactions to identify gaps and potential defects

• Produce clear and structured test documentation, reports, and defect logs

• Support QA process improvements and maintain testing standards

• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior QA team members when required

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–10 years of experience in Manual Testing

• Strong experience across SDLC and STLC testing cycles

• Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments

• Expertise using test management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, qTest)

• Strong experience with API testing using Postman

• Hands-on testing experience with Windows-based web and desktop applications

• Working knowledge of SQL for database validation

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with TOSCA test automation

• Exposure to test automation frameworks

• Experience working in large enterprise testing environments

Location

Poland (preferred)Monthly travel to Barcelona may be required.
